Masks Vermont has adopted the CDC Guidance around masks. Masks are not required if vaccinated in any setting not requiring a mask. Un-vaccinated people are still asked to wear a mask, until they are 2 weeks out from their second dose of vaccine. Business owners may set their own guidance as to the wearing of masks. The state Health Commissioner advises keeping a mask on hand to wear in large groups or crowds, or in situations that make one uncomfortable without a mask.
