    Travel Policy Changes

The Vermont Forward plan will also bring changes to travel quarantine rules. Under the Phase III guidance, quarantine will no longer be required for visitors coming to Vermont or for Vermonters returning from out-of-state travel. Testing is no longer required upon return trips to the state.Testing is not required for vaccinated guests and residents.

    Masks

Vermont has adopted the CDC Guidance around masks. Masks are not required if vaccinated in any setting not requiring a mask. Un-vaccinated people are still asked to wear a mask, until they are 2 weeks out from their second dose of vaccine. Business owners may set their own guidance as to the wearing of masks. The state Health Commissioner advises keeping a mask on hand to wear in large groups or crowds, or in situations that make one uncomfortable without a mask.
