Vermont Forward Guidance Announced (effective April 6, 2021)
Governor Scott Announces Roadmap to Re-Opening Governor Scott has presented the state’s three-month phased reopening plan with the goal of getting back to a new normal by July 4.

Please note that masks, physical distancing, and the usual safety hygiene is still in place.

Travel Policy Changes The Vermont Forward plan will also bring changes to travel quarantine rules. Effective Friday, April 9, quarantine will no longer be required for visitors coming to Vermont or for Vermonters returning from out-of-state travel. Instead, unvaccinatedvisitors must be tested for COVID-19 within three days of travel before they arrive in state. Unvaccinated Vermonters must get a test within three days of returning to VT. Testing is not required for vaccinated guests and residents.
The Mandatory Mask Mandate is still in effect. Masks are required in all indoor settings and in outdoor settings where the 6-foot distancing is not possible. Masks are required for anyone over the age of 2.
