World Migratory Bird Day At Missisquoi NWR
The Refuge celebrates the World Migratory Bird Day with guided bird walks and an afternoon presentation. Activities begin at 5:30 AM with an early bird walk at the Black/Maquam Trail. An orientation at the refuge headquarters building at 7:30 AM will help kick off morning guided walks to document as many migratory birds as possible. Conservation Biologist Margaret Fowle will give an afternoon presentation about Vermont’s bald eagles tally at approximately 1:00 PM.
