“When my practice expanded to the St Albans area  LDN really helped to increase my profile as a leader in the community. The  opportunity to network with peers has been rewarding, personally and professionally.  I recommend the program to anyone in the Northwest Vermont community looking to learn about our business ecosystem and build rewarding bridges with future colleagues and friends.”

Participants are required to attend all monthly seminars. Active participation in the team projects requires an additional commitment of time and energy.

Leadership Development Northwest Learning Competencies

Monthly seminars will guide further development of the decision-making process, creative thinking, organization, relationship management, and personal agility through a series of task and relationship-oriented learning opportunities.

Team Projects

A team project is required for each of the two semesters and they are designed to provide meaningful, real-life opportunities of leadership. The first project has an academic focus that has participants interview other leaders within their communities to experience varied leadership definitions, styles, traits, and skills. The second project is community focused and is undertaken on behalf of a local organization.
